Small Group Activities
Small Group Activities are an initiative that has been growing over the last few years. It is a way to encourage teens and mentors to spend more time together beyond our planned activities through out the year. Activities can be one on one or in groups with other teens and mentors.
On July 30th group of lucky teens and mentors got to experience the magic of Cirque De Soleil with a sneak peak of TOTEM. The big top was buzzing with excitement as performers dazzled teens and mentors alike with super human feats and showed us just what it means to push your limits and test your potential.
The World Skills Expo was in Perth August 21st – 23rd at the Perth Exhibition and Convention Centre. With a wide range of skills, trades and careers on display it was the perfect opportunity for mentors to discuss future possibilities for their teens to pursue.
Previous successful events have included Sculptures by the Sea, Tony and Guy hairdressing workshops, Chinese new year celebrations, football games and laser tag. If you’ve got an idea for a Small Group Activity here’s three simple steps to happen:
Contact Aimee Dawson (firstname.lastname@example.org) and notify the LYF community to get involved
Contact your teen
Just do it!
